HOT SPOTZ II is an aluminized glass fiber insulating tape, combining
a durable, woven glass fabric with an exceptional high temperature
compound that is laminated to a .002" aluminum foil. It is
designed to provide protection against extreme temperatures from
radiant heat where property or bodily harm due to excess heat may
be of concern. In use, the aluminum reflects radiant heat and acts
as a vapor barrier while the unique compound coating imparts high
temperature properties to the 18.5 ounce glass fabric when exposed
to heat. The high temperature adhesive is designed specifically
for durability and long lasting performance in a high heat environment.
